    It’s hard to imagine a universe where compassion, love, etc are as straightforward as the laws of physics.


    • I think many people see love, etc as a force in the universe. It makes me wonder if many of them might viscerally have a reaction similar to the one eyed alien toward the scientific understanding of reality.
